1. PREAMBLE :
These conditions apply to all reservations made with SARL ARMORIC HOTEL, operator of the Hôtel Armoric in Bénodet. They cannot be opposed for any reservations made through a reseller of SARL ARMORIC HOTEL (Booking.com, Expedia) except for points 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 9 and 10 which are valid for all customers staying in the establishment.
For all reservations made through a SARL ARMORIC HOTEL reseller, please refer to the reseller’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The customer declares that he/she has full legal capacity to enter into the present terms and conditions. The customer’s agreement to the general terms and conditions of sale and to the terms and conditions of sale of the reserved rate is obtained at the time of reservation; no reservation is possible without this agreement. The customer may save and edit these terms and conditions using the standard functions of his browser or computer.
2. RATES AND RESERVATIONS :
Reservations become definitive only on receipt of the deposit paid for the service. The amount of the deposit varies according to the service offered.
Reservations cannot be accepted without a deposit.
No reservation can be taken into account without a credit card number and its date of validity (it is specified that the credit card used must be valid at the time of the stay) and the visual cryptogram.
Reservations cannot be taken into account without a valid e-mail address. The latter is used to communicate booking details and the General Sales Conditions relating to the booking.
Our prices are quoted in euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. Any additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay and, where applicable, tourist tax, will be added to the price mentioned in the reservation.
The prices applicable are those in force on the day of booking. As independent professionals, hoteliers are free to change their prices at any time. Therefore, the price displayed during a visit to our website is only valid for orders taken during the period in which it is displayed. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is binding.
3. BOOKING CONDITIONS :
A. General terms and conditions
Your credit card number and validity date (please note that the credit card used must be valid at the time of booking) and the visual cryptogram will be requested at the time of booking.
For individual customers, a bank pre-authorization via a secure link will be requested as a deposit or 30% down payment (credit card, bank transfer or check).
The authorization request is not an immediate debit, but corresponds to a reserve for future payment, authorized by the customer’s bank, which temporarily reduces the ceiling of the bank card used to guarantee the possibility of a future debit. In some cases, however, the authorization request may appear as a pending debit on the bank account associated with the card used.
- Special case of Cap France reservations: Deposit
1. Deposit for an Order for Individual Services
For all Orders validated more than 30 days from the departure date (the latter not being included), a deposit representing 30% of the total price inclusive of all taxes (VAT) is paid by the Customer on the day the Contract is concluded.
The balance of the said Order must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled departure date.
For bookings made 30 days or less before departure, the full price of the Order is due on the day the Contract is concluded.
2. Deposit for an Order for Group Services
– For bookings made at least 12 months prior to the start of the stay:
Fixed deposit (€1000) then 2 deposits of 30% of the price of the stay to be paid respectively: for the 1st deposit of 30% before the end of the 8th month prior to the stay and for the 2nd deposit of 30% before the end of the 5th month prior to the stay.
– For bookings made less than 12 months before the start of the holiday: 30% deposit on booking, followed by a 2nd deposit of 30% of the price of the holiday to be paid before the end of the 5th month before the holiday.
The customer must pay the balance 30 days before the start of the stay, without any reminder from the establishment. In addition to the price of your stay, you may be required to pay any tourist tax levied by the local authorities.
4. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION CONDITIONS :
A. General terms and conditions
For accommodation services (reservation of rooms in an establishment or other types of accommodation), customers are reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, and this in accordance with article L. 221-28 paragraph 12 of the French Consumer Code, which excludes this right for contracts relating to the provision of accommodation services which must be supplied on a specific date or at a specific time.
In the event of a request to change the dates of stay, or the type or quality of service, prices may be revised upwards. The deposit will be transferred to the new reservation. In the event of an increase in the initial price, an additional deposit will be charged. Any request for modification must be made in writing (e-mail or post). Any modification is deemed valid only after written agreement from the establishment.
Customer cancellation policy :
The reference time zone for calculating any refunds due to cancellation or modification is : UTC+1.
- Cancellation of an order for an individual hotel stay :

In the event of cancellation by the Customer of the entire Order for Individual Services, the price or deposit paid in this connection (including the application fee and any membership fees retained by SAS) will be reimbursed in accordance with the following conditions:
– Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start of the holiday: only any fees (booking fees, subscriptions, etc.) will be retained.
– Cancellations made between 60 and 30 days before the start of the holiday: the deposit is retained.
– Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the stay: the full price of the stay remains payable.
No refunds will be made for late arrivals, early departures or absences during the stay.
- Cancellation of an order for Cap France groups :
In the event of cancellation by the Customer of the entire Order for Group Services, the price or deposit paid in this respect (plus any booking fees and membership fees retained by SAS) will be reimbursed in accordance with the following conditions:
– Cancellation more than 90 days before the start of the stay: cancellation charges amount to 30% of the invoiced amount per person booked.
– Cancellations made between 90 and 30 days before the start of the stay: cancellation charges amount to 40% of the invoiced amount per person booked.
– Cancellation between 29 days and 8 days before the start of the stay: cancellation charges amount to 70% of the invoiced amount per person booked.
– Cancellation less than 8 days before the start of your stay: the full invoice is due. No reduction or refund will be made for late arrivals, early departures or absences during the stay. Final numbers must be confirmed in writing to the village no later than the date the contract is signed.
All requests for cancellation must be made in writing (e-mail or post). The date of the request (date of e-mail or postmark) will be used to calculate the cancellation period.
In the event of a no-show, the total cost of the accommodation will be deducted from the card provided at the time of booking, less any deposit paid.
If the service is interrupted for reasons for which the customer is responsible (e.g. early departure), the full agreed price will be collected.
Reservations for services may be changed or cancelled directly with the establishment, whose telephone and other contact details are specified on the e-mail confirmation of the reservation.
Hôtel Armoric Bénodet offers cancellation insurance when you book your Cap France group (see terms and conditions when booking). This is not compulsory, but is recommended when organizing group travel.
- Reduced number of participants
– the reduction in the number of participants is less than 10% of the planned number and is announced more than one month before the start date of the stay: no penalty will be charged for the reduction in the number of participants. The final invoice will be drawn up on the basis of the actual number of participants;
– other cases (reduction in headcount of more than 10% or announced less than one month before the start date of the holiday): application, for the missing headcount, of the rules set out above under the heading “Cancellation of the holiday by the customer”. This reduction in the number of participants may also lead to the cancellation of the excursion or activity services described in the contract. Only persons present during the stay will be taken into account for the calculation of commercial operations.
B. Special offers (promotions, discovery offers)
For accommodation services (reservation of rooms in an establishment or other types of accommodation), customers are reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, and this in accordance with article L. 221-28 paragraph 12 of the French Consumer Code, which excludes this right for contracts relating to the provision of accommodation services which must be supplied on a specific date or at a specific time.
Irrespective of the cancellation period, all sums paid are non-refundable.
In the event of service interruption caused by the customer (e.g. early departure), in the case of
- Force majeure
Force majeure refers to any event outside the control of the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable, preventing either the customer or the hotelier from fulfilling all or part of their obligations under the contract. This is particularly the case in the event of strike, insurrection, riot, or prohibitions imposed by government or public authorities.
It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends the performance of the parties’ mutual obligations, and that each party shall bear the costs arising therefrom. In particular, customers alone will bear any additional costs that may be incurred to enable the continuation of the trip, following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.
Any deposit paid at the time of booking will be retained and may be used for a new service within a maximum period of 18 months.
In the event of force majeure or any other exceptional event that prevents the service from being provided, and in particular the reserved room in the establishment from being made available to the customer, the establishment may reserve the right to accommodate the customer, in whole or in part, in an establishment of an equivalent category, or to provide a service of the same nature, subject to the customer’s prior agreement.
C. Right of Withdrawal – Logis Hôtel Group
5. ANIMALS :
Small pets (under 15kg) are welcome at the hotel (with a surcharge of €15/pet/night), provided they are kept on a leash in and around the premises. They are not allowed in the spa.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse access to its premises to guests who fail to meet this criterion, and may apply the cancellation conditions relating to no-shows.
6. LIVING ROOMS AND BEDROOMS :
In accordance with regulations in force in certain countries, customers may be asked to complete a police form on arrival at the hotel. Customers will be asked to show proof of identity to verify whether or not they are required to complete the police form.
The customer accepts and undertakes to use the room in good manners. Any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if payment has already been made. If no payment has yet been made, the customer must pay the price of the nights consumed before leaving the establishment.
Rooms are available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
The entire establishment is non-smoking. Guests are asked to respect this rule, particularly in the rooms. In the event of non-compliance with this rule, a flat-rate charge of €300 will be debited from the credit card provided at the time of booking. In the event of damage to equipment, a fixed charge of €100, adjustable according to the degree of damage, will be billed. If your towel is stolen, you will be charged €25/towel.
The hotel offers WIFI access enabling guests to connect to the Internet free of charge. The customer undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available by the hotel will not be used in any way for the purpose of reproducing, representing, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, where such authorization is required. Should the customer fail to comply with the aforementioned obligations, he or she risks being accused of counterfeiting (article L.335-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code), punishable by a fine of 300,000 euros and three years’ imprisonment. The customer is also required to comply with the security policy of the hotel’s Internet service provider, including the rules governing the use of security measures implemented to prevent the unlawful use of IT resources, and to refrain from any action that might undermine the effectiveness of these measures.
7. PRIVATE ACCESS :
Access to certain parts of the facility may be restricted. Information is displayed in front of each area concerned.
8. MOVING :
In the event of exceptional circumstances or the impossibility of making the reserved room available to the customer, or in the event of force majeure, the establishment reserves the right to accommodate the customer in whole or in part in a hotel of an equivalent category, for services of the same nature and subject to the customer’s prior agreement.
9. FORGOTTEN PERSONAL EFFECTS :
If personal belongings are forgotten, the customer must send a complaint by email. Postage costs are at the customer’s expense. SARL ARMORIC HOTEL reserves the right to keep unclaimed lost and found for 1 year.
10. CONSUMER MEDIATION :
In accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, any customer has the right to have recourse, free of charge, to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of a dispute.
